In addition to the usual Cash Race Tournament, all 50 qualifying players (plus ties) that qualified for the final Cash Race tournament on Sunday 7 April will have a second chance to win the once in a lifetime opportunity to join our Team Empire 2024 in Las Vegas. 

All the names of the qualifying players will be prepared into Golden Envelopes, and every time a player knocks another player out of the tournament, they will have the chance to draw an envelope.

Each name that is drawn out will be eliminated from the draws until one of two possible outcomes happen:

- All envelopes are drawn until there is only one name standing to win the package -  

or

- The Player picks their own name, which will count as an automatic win of the package and the draw ends -

Terms & Conditions

Cash Race Terms and conditions

1. The promotion will run every month and is only open to Met Card holders.
2. Cash Race Tournaments will take place on the first Sunday of every month and qualification is based on most Met Points earned in the previous calendar month on Poker cash games, 50 players and ties will qualify via a leader board.
3. All players must be signed in at the Poker table with a Met Card to register any points for our leader board.
4. Met Card holders will accumulate points via Met Points for our Cash Race leader board. Data will be collated daily.
5. The period will run from 6am to 6am, Met Points can be accumulated for a maximum of 4 hours of play per gaming session. The first card pitched by the dealer will mark the start of the hand.
6. All final tournaments will commence from 12pm, all qualifying players must be seated by 1pm or risk forfeiture of their place in the tournament.
7. The top 15 finalists from the Cash Race tournaments will win a cash prize (denomination depending on placement), first place will also win a WSOP Team Empire Package for the following year.
8. The WSOP Team Empire package includes: $10,000 buy-in for the WSOP Main Event for the following year, return flights to Las Vegas and travel insurance, transfers to hotel and accommodation, branded Empire Poker Room merchandise, ‘Team Empire’ experience whilst in Las Vegas (to be determined by management).
9. There is no cash alternative/refund for any part(s) of the package.
10. Packages can only be transferred to another Met Card holder (within 14 days of winning) who has qualified for a Team Empire Cash Race or previously played in a WSOP tournament at the Empire with prior agreement from the Empire Casino management.
11. Travel arrangements will be made for all team members to travel together. These flights will be fixed dates and any adjustments to the flights or travel accommodation will be at the expense of the team member. There are no refund or cash alternatives to the original arrangements.
12. If a package is transferred, it must be done as a whole. Flights, accommodation and buy in will be in a single persons name only.
13. Players must confirm all details within 14 working days of winning a package so relevant bookings can be made.
14. Winners must wear an Empire badge at all times during WSOP tournament play. These must remain visible during all Main Event tournament play. No other promotional badges must be worn during the WSOP Main Event without permission from Empire Casino management.
15. If a package is transferred, the nominee assumes all package winner expectations and responsibilities.
16. Package Winners must arrange and obtain their own ESTA/Visa for right of entry into the USA.
17. The team members will be fully responsible for adhering to any Covid-19 entry requirements into the USA and the UK on return, if required.
18. Players entering the WSOP events must be over the age of 21.
19. Each team member will need to provide the Las Vegas hotel with their credit card details. The credit card will be charged for an incidental deposit and any other costs accrued during the trip.
20. Players will be required to participate in marketing commitments which include but are not limited to photographs, videos and social media posts. These will be scheduled in London and Las Vegas. These will be scheduled in advance and must be attended by all Team Empire members.
21. If any team member is participating in any product/service marketing which may be a conflict of interest to our own, their package may be cancelled.
22. The management reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion at any time. All management decisions are final.
23. If a player has his/her Met account suspended or cancelled before the tournament, they will forfeit their place/package.
24. Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
25. Any complaints or disputes should be brought to the immediate attention of Venue Management for resolution.
26. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time. If participants have already met the qualifying criteria for the promotion, they will be entitled to participate in the promotion on the terms entered, (subject to any expiry or other conditions contained in these terms) and entitled to any benefits associated with the promotion.
27. Employees of the Promoter, their agents, families, or household members are prohibited from participating in this promotion.
28. Disregard or failure to meet any of these terms may result in the management cancelling prizes.

March Eliminator Terms and conditions

1. The promotion will run from 4 to 31 March 2024 and is only open Met Card holders.
2. Players will qualify for the promotion via a Cash Race tournament leader board, where 50 players and ties based on Met Points earned within qualifying period will be invited to take part in the final tournament on Sunday 7 April 2024.
3. All qualifying participants will each have their names prepared in an individual envelope.
4. During the final tournament, every time a player knocks another player out of the tournament, they will have the chance to draw an envelope to reveal a name.
5. Each name drawn will be eliminated from the draw until one of two outcomes occur:
a. All envelopes are drawn until there is only one name left (which will be the winner).
b. A customer picks their own name, which will count as an automatic win of the package and the draw ends.
6. The prize for the March Eliminator is the Team Empire 2024 package.
7. Cash Race and Team Empire terms and conditions apply.
8. Player that qualified and didn’t attend the tournament can still win the package i.e., if the player’s name is in the last envelope left.
9. Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
