Terms & Conditions

  1. The promotion will run from 23 September 2024 – 9 March 2025 and is only open to Met Card holders (excluding M Leisure Tier).
  2. Starting from 23 September 2024 until 28 February 2025, Points will be awarded to players from our daily tournaments.
  3. Number of points earned for each player will be tracked via a leader board displayed in the Poker Room.
  4. Points will be awarded based on the players placement in the tournament (i.e. If there are 6 players who have paid in a tournament, the first place winner will win 6 points, the second place winner will win 5 points, the third place winner will win 4 points, and so on), number of points earnable are unlimited depending on the amount of runners.
  5. Players must have a cash pay out at the end of the tournament in order to receive points based on their placement. Eliminated players will not earn any points. The top three highest point earners (Plus ties) from daily tournaments (excluding cash games) of each month will qualify for a final tournament.
  6. Points earned will not include prizes that are determined as part of a bubble deal (i.e. If players agree to adjust (subtract money from the places paid) to create a pay out prize for the next player to be eliminated, the player that is eliminated still won’t earn any points).
  7. Points awarded from Tournaments concluded via ICM Deal (Individual Chip Model) will be distributed based on chips stacks and not final cash pay-out amount.
  8. The final tournament will take place on Sunday 9 March 2025 and the first place winner from this tournament will win a Team Empire package for the WSOP in 2025, which includes: A $10,000 buy-in for the WSOP Main Event in 2025, Return flights to Las Vegas, travel insurance and transfers to the hotel, accommodation at a Caesars property in Las Vegas, Branded Empire Poker Room merchandise, ‘Team Empire,’ experiences whilst in Las Vegas.
  9. Players must be aged over 21 to participate in the WSOP.
  10. Players who have won the package must travel on the flights arranged by the promoter. Details of travellers must be provided within 14 days of being awarded the package.
  11. Traveling players must arrange their own ESTA/VISA application to travel.
  12. All packages are maintained as a complete package including all items listed in point 7 of these terms. The package is transferable to another Met Card holder that has qualified for any of the Vegas Finals throughout the promotion period.
  13. Participants agree to allow Metropolitan Gaming the unconditional use of their name and likeness (including photographs) for promotions/advertising and announcements without compensation, consideration, notice, review, pre-approval, or additional consent, relating to the Race to Vegas promotion.
  14. Participants competing in the WSOP agree to wear ‘Team Empire’ branded clothing for the duration they are competing in the tournament during the Vegas trip.
  15. £100 from the prize pool of daily tournaments within this promotion period will contribute towards the package and final prize pool. No deductions will be made from tournaments in March 2025.
  16. Points cannot be allocated or transferred by arrangement. They must be won through regular tournament play or a turnover/flip.
  17. Each Met Card holder can only qualify once, in the event that a Met Card holder qualifies a second time, the qualification will roll over to the next player on the leader board.
  18. Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
  19. Any complaints or disputes should be brought to the immediate attention of Venue Management for resolution.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time. If participants have already met the qualifying criteria for the promotion, they will be entitled to participate in the promotion on the terms entered, (subject to any expiry or other conditions contained in these terms) and entitled to any benefits associated with the promotion.
  21. Employees of the Promoter, their agents, families, or household members are prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  22. Disregard or failure to meet any of these terms may result in the management cancelling prizes.
